I am a professor (MSO) at VIVE - The Danish Center for Social Science Research and a professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Business at Roskilde University. My main research interests are social stratification and the sociology of education, with a focus on young people's later educational transitions. I am particularly interested in how socialization processes, child-rearing practices, and educational strategies within families with varying cultural, social, and economic resources shape educational opportunities. I use both quantitative and qualitative methods.
